BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (December 26th, 2021) – Boustead Sdn. Bhd., the sole distributor of Nissan cars in Brunei unveiled the new Nissan Terra 2021 during an exclusive launch event with invited media members and Social Influencers today at Jerudong Park Amphitheater.

The new Nissan Terra SUV features a new premium design and interior upgrades to deliver superior safety and entertainment for whole family. “The first generation of the Nissan Terra was launched back in January 2019 and has received a very good response from our market due to its Bruneian nature with an array combination of best-in-class engine performance of a 2.5L Diesel Turbocharged engine that produces an amazing 188 horsepower and 450Nm of torque. Not just being a spacious car but Nissan Terra also provides comfort while driving with its zero gravity seats and multi-link suspension that produces a smoother yet safer ride.” said Hj Shahrum bin Hj Jaafar, Nissan Assistant Sales Manager.

During the launch event, three units of Nissan Terra are being displayed with three different concepts that relate to its main communication message “Your partner for family adventures” which shows that the new Nissan Terra is suitable and tough enough to overcome any terrain, while offering the best-in-class comfort, convenience and safety levels.
Similar with the previous generation, the new Nissan Terra is powered with a 2.5L Turbocharged Diesel Engine with a maximum power of 188HP and a maximum torque of 450Nm, which gives the best acceleration performance, with a smooth yet powerful drive.

Launched with 2 variants; 2WD High grade and 4WD Premium grade. Both are available in 5 colours; a new Red, Black, Gray, White and Silver.

The exterior is redesigned to a sleek and elegant appearance with the new V-Motion Front Grille and new Quad LED Projector Headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights that give a premium look and a better nighttime view, improving illumination by 34% from the previous generation. Meanwhile, the rear is redesigned with an LED tail lamps which completes the look of being labelled as a premium SUV. It also comes with an 18-inch Alloy Wheels that create an exciting drive experience on and off road.

Inside, the new Nissan Terra is furnished with a new sleek dashboard and center console design including a large 9-inch AIVI touchscreen display audio for Premium grade and an 8-inch AIVI touchscreen display audio for High grade to connect to navigation system and entertainment applications. Furthermore, the car is equipped with a BOSE Premium Audio System with 8 speakers that gives a high-quality sound experience for all members in the car. Not only that, the rear passengers can now enjoy their favourite programs online and all kinds of entertainment from the 11-inch Flip-down Rear Monitor along the way. The car is also equipped with a noise reducing acoustic glass which reduces outside noise while giving the highest quality sound on any trip. The Zero Gravity front row seats add more comfort as it provides support to help reduce fatigue by maintaining seating comfort, making long drives more pleasant. These allow all occupants on board to feel more relax and ensures to keep the family trips memorable and exciting.

The Premium grade also now comes with an Electronic Parking Brake and features a wireless charging that adds convenience for front passengers to charge their phones without the use of cables to maintain a clean and sleek look.
Additionally, the new Nissan Terra has a stylish and spacious interior cabin suited for the comfort of the whole family as it highlights a theatre seating arrangement to give better visibility for the second and third row seats. Another popular feature of Nissan Terra coming in both variants is the auto-tumble seats where second-row seats could automatically tumble with one-button access.

The new Premium grade is further enhanced with Nissan Intelligent Mobility technology for a safer and more confident drive including an Around View Monitor, a monitor that provides a virtual 360-degree scene of the car in bird's-eye view. It assists the drivers by giving real-time information about the vehicle's surrounding area which makes parking much easier and safer specifically in tight parking spaces. It is also equipped with a Hill Start Assist which helps to manage steep inclines and hill ascents, preventing the car from rolling backwards. The technology helps to hold pressure on the brake for a few seconds, providing enough time for the driver to switch from the brake pedal to accelerator. Additionally, the Hill Descent Control helps the car to go down steep hills as it adjusts the speed and brake pressure to help the driver cruise along safely. Last but not least, the Nissan Terra 4WD also boasts an intelligent rear view mirror that enables driver to be able see traffic conditions behind the car through its build-in LCD monitor while carrying bigger or taller items that sometimes may obstruct clear view of a typical rear view mirror.
